The Next Wave of AI and Computing

AIX Welcomes Data Center Industry Leader Mark Thiele to Advisory Board

AIX Global Innovations is pleased to announce that Mark Thiele has joined the company as a Strategic Advisor, supporting our work at the intersection of energy systems, data center infrastructure, and next-generation computational environments.

Mark brings decades of leadership and influence in the data center and digital infrastructure space. He currently serves on the board of the International Data Center Authority and is also a board member at Tensorwave, placing him at the center of some of the most important conversations shaping the future of compute, AI infrastructure, and energy systems. His experience spans some of the most critical evolutions in cloud, hyperscale, and high-performance compute environments, along with deep expertise in energy systems and how they underpin the next generation of digital infrastructure.

At AIX, we are focused on a fundamental shift in how complex systems are managed.

Modern infrastructure has reached a point where prediction alone is no longer enough. Systems must continuously adapt, coordinate, and respond in real time to maintain stability and efficiency at scale. This is especially true in energy systems and data centers, where increasing demand is colliding with a growing constraint: access to power.

As outlined in our work, the challenge is not simply generating more energy. It is how effectively existing energy is managed.

Today, significant capacity remains locked within current infrastructure. It is lost to inefficiencies, conservative buffering, and an inability to dynamically respond to real-world conditions. This creates a growing bottleneck for data centers and high-performance compute environments at precisely the moment global demand is accelerating.

AIX is addressing this challenge with Seed IQ™, an adaptive multiagent execution control layer designed to operate directly over complex systems. Unlike deep learning systems that rely on static models and prediction, Seed IQ is built on Active Inference combined with physics-driven dynamics, forming a unified cognitive structure across agents. Each agent develops its own continuously evolving world model, sensing and adapting to its local environment in real time, while remaining inherently aligned with the broader system and mission objectives. This enables self-regulating, system-wide coherence, where execution is continuously governed as conditions change moment to moment, safely unlocking and recovering usable capacity that would otherwise remain constrained or stranded.

The rapid expansion of AI infrastructure is exposing a critical constraint: the primary bottleneck for near-future data center growth is no longer compute, but access to energy capacity. The prevailing assumption has been that increasing capacity requires building new infrastructure. In reality, new data center and energy buildouts often face multi-year delays just to secure power from the grid, creating a widening gap between demand and what can be delivered in time.

Seed IQ™ changes the conversation.

Rather than requiring new infrastructure, it enables operators to increase the effective yield of energy from systems that already exist. By governing execution in real time, Seed IQ™ dynamically manages how energy is utilized across the system, recovering capacity that is currently lost to inefficiencies, conservative buffering, and the inability to respond adaptively to changing conditions. This provides a path to materially expand usable capacity on a much shorter timeline.

Equally important, this is achieved within the strict operational constraints of data center environments, where reliability is paramount. Seed IQ’s physics-grounded, bounded autonomy ensures that agents operate within defined limits, continuously maintaining system stability and coherence. Instead of introducing risk, it reduces it by identifying drift, adapting to fluctuations and demand in real time, and preserving safe operating conditions while unlocking performance.

Mark’s role as an advisor is centered on helping guide this effort within the data center and energy ecosystem. He will provide strategic insight into market dynamics, support product-market alignment, and facilitate key introductions across the industry.

His perspective comes at a critical moment.

The rapid expansion of AI infrastructure is driving unprecedented demand for power, while the ability to bring new energy capacity online remains constrained. This gap is forcing the industry to rethink not just how energy is generated, but how it is managed, optimized, and utilized in real time.

Mark has long been at the forefront of these conversations. His understanding of both the technical and operational realities of data centers provides invaluable guidance as AIX advances its approach to adaptive execution control across energy systems.

We are excited to welcome Mark to AIX and to work together on redefining how energy and compute infrastructure operate at scale.

If you’re building the future of energy systems, quantum infrastructure, logistics, supply chains, manufacturing, finance, or robotics, this is where the conversation begins.
